What is this model for?
An apartment building entrance door opens and closes dozens of times a day; what matters here is not appearance but the cycle life of the hinges and the lock. A raised-panel surface offers a practical advantage under this kind of use: the depth of the panels breaks up scratches and impact marks, so it shows far less wear than a flat surface. Insulation inside the leaf reduces both heat loss and closing noise — most residents’ complaints about noise from the entrance hall are solved with this layer. Reinforcement for a door closer (hydraulic arm) is left at the top of the frame from the start; closers fitted later strain the frame and throw the door out of plumb within a few months. In terms of color, navy and dark green show dirt noticeably less than white.

03An honest note
When is this model not the right choice?
On minimal, straight-lined modern facades, a raised panel looks old-fashioned. Also, the panel recesses collect dust and dirt; in salty environments such as the seaside, cleaning is needed more often.
Selling the wrong model does nobody any good. Send us the measurements and a photo of the installation site; if this model does not fit, we will tell you which one does.
