What is this model for?
On modern facades the door is not a decorative item but a continuation of the facade; so the surface is left without a pattern and painted a single color. Visual interest comes from the handle: a full-height vertical handle elongates the leaf and makes the door look taller than it is. A flat surface takes less labor to fabricate, but it is unforgiving of paint quality — the slightest wave or orange-peel texture shows immediately on a large flat area, so electrostatic powder coating is a requirement here, not a preference. The joint between frame and wall is kept as thin as possible; a thick joint instantly cheapens a clean door. The positions of the doorbell, camera panel and house number are planned from the start, because on a flat surface every part added later stands out.

03An honest note
When is this model not the right choice?
A flat surface does not forgive paint defects or impact marks; at heavily used entrances that get bumped often, it looks tired within a few years. If the doorbell, camera and house number will not be planned from the start, every part added later will stand out on the surface.
Selling the wrong model does nobody any good. Send us the measurements and a photo of the installation site; if this model does not fit, we will tell you which one does.
