01Model
What is this model for?
On facades with classic lines, a fully solid entrance door makes the entrance dark; add glass, and the question of security arises. A wrought iron glass guard solves both: light comes in, and the pattern acts as both a deterrent and an ornament. The wrought iron parts are forged and shaped in the workshop and fixed not between the glass and the leaf but to the outer face of the glass — so even if the glass breaks, the opening stays protected. The glass is laminated; when broken it does not fall apart, because the interlayer holds the pieces together. Gold patina details stand out on a dark body and are kept in the same tone as the other gold elements on the facade (handle, house number, lighting). The denser the pattern, the less light comes in; this balance is decided according to the direction the entrance faces.

03An honest note
When is this model not the right choice?
At north-facing entrances that already get little light, a dense wrought iron pattern darkens the hall even more. On a modern, unornamented facade, forged details also look out of place; the flush model (SM-BG003) is the right choice for that style.
Selling the wrong model does nobody any good. Send us the measurements and a photo of the installation site; if this model does not fit, we will tell you which one does.
