Double-Leaf Wrought Iron Villa Gate

On stone-clad villas with classic lines, the gate has to speak the same language as the architecture; in this model the body is built from flat bar, and the scroll and leaf details are forged one by one in the workshop and then added. The two leaves open from the center, so the swing arc in front of the gate must stay clear — on narrow streets or at ramped entrances, this dimension is always checked during the site survey. Because forged iron is prone to oxidation outdoors, surface preparation here is not a decorative step but one that determines service life: sandblasting is followed by primer, and then paint. An antique gold patina adds depth to the relief surfaces and makes the details easier to read than on an all-matte-black gate. The hinge points are reinforced according to the leaf weight and the wind load.
