What is this model for?
A mesh panel fence marks a boundary but gives no privacy; a louvered fence is used for exactly this need. Aluminum slats are arranged horizontally between the posts, and the spacing is adjusted to the degree of privacy wanted. When the slats are set at an angle, someone looking in from outside sees the faces of the slats while the view from inside out stays open — this is the solution that cuts off the neighbors’ view without closing in the garden. Because aluminum does not rust, it has a clear advantage over a steel fence in coastal and humid locations; an anodized or electrostatic powder-coated finish needs no maintenance for years. Wind load rises quickly as the gaps between the slats are closed; a fully closed louvered fence carries many times the load of a mesh panel fence of the same height, and the post section and footing are enlarged accordingly.

03An honest note
When is this model not the right choice?
Wind load rises quickly as the gaps between the slats are closed; on high, unsheltered runs, it should not be installed if the post section and footing cannot be enlarged. For long plot perimeters, its cost is noticeably higher than that of a mesh panel fence.
Selling the wrong model does nobody any good. Send us the measurements and a photo of the installation site; if this model does not fit, we will tell you which one does.
